Ghost Reviewer

Ghost Reviewer checks your document for weak modifiers, clichés, misused words, wordy phrases, and more.  Using Word's Track Revisions function, she highlights the indiscretions and points to the explanation.

While you could pay a professional editor to do this task, now you can do it yourself with Ghost Reviewer. You have the power to elevate the quality of your words.

You can set what the Ghost will search for in your paper. The ghost will remember your settings for subsequent searches. After you launch the Ghost, she finds the words you've specified.

.

For example, the word "very" is an intensifier that should not be used in formal writing according to critics and grammarians. How many times did you use it in your paper?  Hunt them down and over a hundred and fifty other indiscretions with Ghost Reviewer in minutes.

Fix it or ignore each criticism. The choice is yours. The comment will refer you to the Edit List (a section in the manual) that defines the dictum in question. The source of the criticism may be from Elements of Style by Strunk & White, or some other respected grammar style manual. Evaluate the comment with objective criticism of expert grammarians.

Along with Word's Track Revision toolbar buttons, Ghost Reviewer adds six more to make your job easier. With these buttons, you can quickly update each individual comment or wait until you're finished and clean up the comments all at once.

You can cycle back and forth through your paper and the indiscretions the Ghost seems worried about. If you want to know why she's complaining, click Reveal Guidance. You'll see the dictum explained. When you decided what to do, click on Comment Cluster Action. You can ignore the Ghost on this indiscretion, ignore this dictum forever, or let the Ghost fix it.

Ghost Reviewer will improve the quality of your writing, whether you're a grammar novice or expert. You will be amazed at what she finds. Ready, Set, Done.

Book Doctor's Space Corrector

Many of us were taught to put two spaces between sentences; however, with the advent on different fonts, the rules have changed. Sentences are now separated by one space. Don't worry, the Wizard will fix your entire document with a click of a button.

Many times we add superfluous spaces at the end of paragraphs, or blank lines erroneously used for spacing. Again, the Wizard will fix them with just the click of a button.
